The Wrong Question

It took me years to work out that the question I'd been asking the whole time was the wrong one. I kept asking what I should take. Which brand, which dose, which one people rated highest. Nobody ever told me what I should be aiming at. So here it is. This is what's supposed to happen. Soft, open, it fills, it holds. That's the whole machine. It isn't a hormone. It isn't desire. It's something soft that fills up. Now here's the same thing after it's been stiffening for twenty years. Same amount of blood arriving. Nowhere for it to go. That's it. That's the entire problem. Stiff tissue doesn't swell. And once you've seen that, every single thing I ever bought makes sense — because every one of them was pushing harder on something that had stopped being able to open. I wasn't short of anything. Something had built up. What builds up, and why, is written up below.
